three-quarters of the UK population describe themselves as belonging to
one of the main world religions. Faith Literacy UK provides an opportunity to explore each of them within a comfortable and informal atmosphere.

Faith Literacy UK trainers come from a range of different
faith traditions and bring today's religious and cultural diversity directly to you. They recommend key websites and other sources of further
information. They provide you with the contact details of religious organisations. They
bring books and
religious artefacts for you to browse. They provide
a calendar of
religious festivals and observance for each participant.
ACCESSIBLE TRAINING
Faith Literacy UK workshops are enjoyable and interactive. Participants are encouraged to explore new ways of relating to people from
different religious traditions. The diversity within faith communities as well as between them is demonstrated.
Participants are presented with
up-to-date statistics and trends. The changing context of world events, concerns about security and the role of the media are addressed.

Faith Literacy UK offers a range of opportunities, from
standard introductory training to tailor-made sessions. They are all accessible and
participatory. We work with you to
create a programme which will meet your particular needs.
